-The Great Health Debate-

Hello All :) For anyone really wanting to learning more about natural health, holistic healing, and true nutrition there is an awesome opportunity to do just that. Coming soon there will be a FREE online event called, The Great Health Debate. It'll provide some great "food for thought", and maybe some new information and ideas that you never heard before, or possibilty back up some things that you have heard about.

Now it is only free for the first day, but I still think it's a great opportunity to learn what you can learn. So you have a choice to upgrade for the whole time, which is a cost of $50, or take the info that you can for free. I'd definitely say that if you can afford to pay for the event, do so, but I completely understand if you cannot.

It's an incredible deal no matter which route that you chooe. Some huge people in the raw food and health circuit will be speaking like Donna Gates, Dr. Joe Mercola, Sally Fallon, David Wolfe, and many more. So the event will be taking place from February 6th-13th 2011. If I can, I am going to pay the $50. I will find out what I can for you and post it here as well. I plan on taking notes. I find that the questions being presented are worthy of having the answers shared, and that's why I have this blog to begin with in the first place.

So go to the link below, copy and paste into your browser window if need be, to sign up for the free one day:

Contemplation in the Morning

Proverbs 3 :7-8

"Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones."

As I read this scripture this morning it reminded me about how we can rely so much on our own understanding, and the world's understanding. Living in a country where technology is soaring each and everyday it can be sadly too easy to forget the wonderful things that our creator, Yahweh, has given to us.

He has given us His wonderful love letter the Word of God, the Bible, and the gift of His precious son, Yeshua, my Lord and King's life for our spiritual health. He didn't stop there though. He gave us instruction as well in the Bible for our physical health, as well as an array of incredible plants and animals to nourish our bodies physically.

I am so grateful to belong to Him. What a spoiled daughter of the King I am! Blessed beyond measure, and it never stops. Even through trials, and weakness, my Lord still reigns, and holds me close.

Happy New Year!

Can you believe that 2010 is gone? Every year truly seems to go by more quickly than the next. So with the new year I hope to be posting lots more recipes, health topics, and sharing blessings with you.

Tonight for dinner I whipped up something very quickly, which seemed to go over well. I just used what I had on hand. In my cast iron skillet I put a little coconut oil, fresh chopped garlic, white beans (I soaked these overnight and cooked them this morning), frozen pesticide free spinach, black pepper, sea salt, and some crumbled goat cheese.

I'm sure while I didn't add them that tomatoes would have gone well with this dish. If you are a meat eater, then throw in some shredded chicken breast. You could even mix quinoa or brown rice up with it as well.

I pray that the Lord has blessed you in January of 2011 as much as He has me already!
